GETTING THE HELP
In times like we are in today; it is very important for you to try your best to seek some form of mental health. When the pandemic lockdown happened, people were losing their jobs and being evicted which can prove to be depressing. And then on top of that, you have food insecurities from the shortage because it was a global problem. So, with all that has been said, I know me myself, I have had to deal with these problems mentally. But my problems were pre-pandemic. So how does one make the first step in getting the help they need? Well, I can talk about this from life experience because I have been on and off again in therapy myself. This is the first time I have been more consistent ever in my life.
MY LIFE AS IT STANDS
For me, I have been going through therapy for about six months now. And as it stands, I feel I have been making some breakthroughs. Good for me because I have been going through a lot over the years. I always wanted to live a normal life and therapy has aided me on my journey. But are there more things that you can do? Of course there are more things that you can do. And those additional things would have to be self care. You have to do what you can do in order to improve yourself along the way. What does this mean for you to get some work done?
SELF WORK
I started going to the gym when I was 30 years old. And now that I am 34 years old I have made really slow but good progress along the way. Starting at 160 pounds I am up to 195 pounds. The reason that I am saying this is because in building muscle I became more confident. And that confidence has made it easier for me to talk through my therapy session. The next step is stepping out into society and making the life you have worked on work for you.
