I wake up in the morning and check my Instagram first thing before turning on the television. The problem with that, is that people should get up and move around a little bit. If we are glued to our social media that early in the morning, it can have an impact on how we think. And in return can lead to some serious psychological problems. This is when you realize that social media can lead to mental health issues that stats have already concluded. But this is a medium that is here to stay and not going anywhere anytime soon. Not only is it not going away, but it will most likely grow to scale to be even bigger. Which means there will be even more problems in the world leading to an entire generation with mental illnesses.

There was a time when people didn’t know about the lifestyles of others. We got up, went to our jobs and came home to our families. You suspected people lived a certain way, but that was it. Now that there is a medium for people to post their lives, it is not only for public viewing. You also get a chance to see where you stand relative to someone else’s life. And no matter what you have someone somewhere has more. This has brought about a nation of depression and conspiracies. And yet, it is so easy to just unfollow, which is to a great extent why it’s so easy to not blame in a way social media. When I say blame, I am not saying them, I am saying a direct effect from the usage. We just were better off at times when we didn’t know, nor could we figure out.

why we tune in

Remember people, social media is all around us, but we have the option to tune out. We don’t have to follow things that make us uncomfortable. We do so because in today’s society we are addicted to the rage. We need something to be angry about and you can always depend on a story on the internet getting you revved-up. We nee something that will give us am escape away from our lives by looking at others lives with reverence. Sad part is that most people lives are fine, but when we compare we lose the satisfaction of how far we have come.

When it comes to your mental health, how well do you channel energy from the inside out is important. What are some things that your mind focuses on that will aid in your overall good mental energy? Some of us focus on our careers others focus on our personal lives. But whatever it may be, you have to have something that holds your attention. Once you find that thing or things, you will be able to dismiss all the other bad things that try to find their way into your psyche. Now, as far as certain activities like meditation, I am unfamiliar with this type of ritual so I will leave that to the people who know best.

In order to get to a place of knowing your mental energy and making it work for you, you have to first get to a place of recognizing what that means. And what do I mean by what mental energy means. Do you have to read books? Maybe. Do you have to try different technical exercises? Maybe. It is a time sort of method. And by that I mean, you have to look over a certain period of time within your life. And from that reflection figure out your shit. Hate to sound that straight forward, but it truly is what you have to do. Figuring out your shit means getting to a place of knowing how to make the world around you work in your favor to aid in your success.

When you are able top focus and channel your mental energy there are good health benefits, mainly mental health. Now, of course there are physical benefits like less stress on the body because you are in a bad cerebral place. But still, when the mind is not right, then you are going to run into some serious problems that will ultimately effect the physical anyways. And those ophyscial problems generally are issues that come from your own self harming.

CONTINUOUS LIFE LEARNING: WHY WE STOP LEARNING AT A CERTAIN AGE

As adults, the vast majority of us will reach an age where we completely stop learning. And when I say completely stop learning, I mean academically. And the age we stop is young, usually in our mid 20’s. That is odd considering the average person lives to be 78 years of age. So for the next 50 years, people rarely pick up a piece of material out of curiosity and learn something new. Only problem is that when there is a new way of life in a civilization that creates a new lane for growth, people have a hard time matriculating.

The brain has to be cleaned at every stage of life so that you make room for new information otherwise you don’t evolve past where you are in life. So let’s say you want to move from being poor to middle class. You have to clean your mind of what keeps you in poverty and replace that with new information. You learn things that are not taught to you in schools by an instructor. This way you’re ahead of the curve past those that are not interested in learning anything new.

Our emotional state has a lot to do with why we have a hard time learning. If you are not in the best place in life, you will have a hard time focusing and concentrating on important subject matte. You will spend a lot of your time in a rut and slump. So anything that comes your way that can possibly help you, you reject the information. And some people are so dependent on their slump that they become content and never grow.

HOPING FOR THE WORST: DO YOU SOMETIMES WISH EARLY DISMISS OUT OF FEAR

INTRODUCTION

Have you ever had a moment of or moments in your life where you think something internally is wrong, but isn’t? I have spoken in the past about being a hypochondriac, where you might make something small and meaningless into something much bigger. For me, it has always been health, and I probably couldn’t be any healthier. Well, what is it, what has me thinking about poor health even in good health? Better yet, why do any of us build in our minds that we are worse off than we are in life. There are so many people with real problems, and here you are worry about nothing. So many sick people truly wish they could be in my shoes right now.

WHAT IS THE REAL FEAR

The fear that you are in poor health is actually a few factors. One of the reasons has to do with the idea that you fear tomorrow and the day after that, and so on. Meaning, the fear of aging is on so many people’s minds. We sometimes hope that we are sick so that we don’t have to deal with the idea of losing people close to us. But dying for you so young hurts so many people that it almost becomes selfish on your behalf to feel that way. Another fear comes from maybe not wanting to die, but the idea of dying never accomplishing your goals. So many are cut short of what they strive to become, and those are the stories that hurt the most. Other fears can also come into play as well: not amounting to what others may think of you, not wanting to live in financial straights, and fear of having too many expect too much of you and not being able to live up to the expectations.

DEALING WITH THE FEAR

Now, in dealing with these mental-emotional issues, you have to keep yourself busy with something you love in life. Because death is the inevitable, we all are going to perish one day. And constantly thinking about it can be a sign that ones life is empty. That is not to be mistaken with not having anything to do. It just means you need another outlet that will take your mind off of always thinking of the end. Yet, once you lose someone close to you, it becomes harder to push into the back of your mind. But controlling the mind will help you maintain your sanity and stress levels.

WEAK MINDS: HOW PEOPLE ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE LED ASTRAY

WHAT ARE WEAK MINDS?

Those out there who have weak minds are constantly willing and able to be led astray. And notice I said willing and able because above all, you control your mind. But those who possess a weak mind don’t want to admit that they have an issue, or have convinced themselves that how they think is real. These are also the people who have some internalized secret, some form of hurt, that is coming out in some form. Could be a person who has a hard time dealing with loss, has turned to drugs to cope. Or the person who grew up without a father having turned to a pimp for guidance.

HOW DO YOU SPOT THEM?

We all know they exist, and some of you might be a weak mind yourself. But how do you spot those who hold a weak mindset. Well, here is a truth behind the weak mind. Humans have evolved into creatures where we have the ability to make a perceived rational decision. Perception is important because you may be wrong from time to time, but you perceive this to be a good decision. From that, it becomes held belief, perspective. Yet, not all beliefs should be followed. But instead of questioning the belief, we delve deeper. And someone looking to capitalize will see this and give you the answers you want to hear. They know it’s wrong, but it’s to their benefit over you.

KEEPNG YOUR MIND SHARP

For anyone out there in the world, keeping your mind sharp is a tough feat. You have all sorts of feelings going through your body that you think are real. Some are and some aren’t, it’s all about process of eliminating what’s not important. But if you hold on to everything without challenging the belief, you’ll find yourself going down a rabbit when forced to rationalize your belief. Then that burden of proof will shine through, showing you the real. Weak minds will fight back against the real, and further take themselves down that rabbit hole. Furthermore opening themselves up to manipulation.

GREAT MINDS BELONG TO THE WORLD: WHY YOU SHOULD BE FREE WITH YOUR KNOWLEDGE

WHAT IS A GREAT MIND?

A great mind is not someone who can go to school and get a degree in a related field. A great mind is someone that has an open perspective on the world and is able to rationally apply it to society that is of benefit to everyone. Meaning, great engineers of our time and the past were able to create great efforts that we still use today: locomotive, automobile, aircraft, and aquatic. Well, what separates them from everyone else in society. Plenty of people have what they believe as great minds, but what makes the greats the great.

HOW DO YOU GET ONE?

The question of, “How do you get a great mind,” is not as simple as asking the question getting the answer. There are genetics involved, having a need that comes into question, as well as your take on the world. But there is another key element, and that is knowing that no matter how much you believe in something, understand when it’s not good. That means how many people are truly able to be true to what they are in life. Most people have this mental block that enables them to see who they are and their strengths along with weaknesses. They hear something that doesn’t align with their belief system and automatically shoot it down, instead of asking why do I believe in this and is it truly righteous to believe.

THE BAD MINDS OF THE BUNCH

Those who are of the group of people that can not get past themselves are the ones who can never reach full potential. They usually shift blame elsewhere on everyone else except themselves. These are the people who love the conspiracy theorist to death. Because we live in this society now where there is a demographic of people that love a place where they can go out and look for what ales them that will give them a reason for their current mental, financial, physical, or governmental situation outside themselves for why they can’t progress in life. I am in this situation because of this person or that systemic issue.

THE MASSES STILL NEED YOUR HELP

Still, even with the bad minds of society, the masses still could use a great that will propel them in the right direction. A great that will provide them with another way to look at life. A way that will not only set up the current generation but future generations for as the Declaration of Independence once said, “A future security for this nation.” And if you are of one of those people, it’s your duty to do so because when you don’t, you not only rob yourself, but you rob society of a quality of life. A quality that is not present currently at the moment.

MENTAL/HEALTH: JANUARY TOPIC

FOCUS

Starting this month my blog will look a lot different from the previous years when I started in August of 2015. Each month will be dedicated to a particular topic of interest. And at least 12 times per month, I will be incorporating a video/and or graphical charts with my particular takes on a subject.

ASKING THE WHY

This month, I will be focusing on the mental. Doesn’t matter if it’s mental thinking, our mental health, or even how well the brain works to enable us to do what we do in society on a daily basis. It’s a topic of interest to me for quite some time. How well does the human brain work? How do we use it because of our thought? And why we should maintain a healthy mental state. I will also be placing quite a few views on physical health as well.

ABOUT THIS MONTH

As you can see, the topics will not be spread out, but will more so be condensed into a shorter post. These shorter posts are meant to focus more on the graphical information, charts, videos I provide, with shorter quick reads. So January will be what I deem as, “Mental/Health Month.” After January, no more will be pertaining to mental health until January of 2019.

CONCLUSION

So for this entire year while I build my blog further, I will condense things into a more interactive space. I want you to think more on a particular topic longer. Whereas in the past, I was posting randomly throughout the year. I want you to think, I want you to reply, I want you to share, I want you to like, and hopefully you will follow.
