READY-SET-GO
I can’t wait for the weather to break a little more in the city of New York. And it is because I want to run a little more. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of people who run in the winter. As for me, I do my best running during the warmer months. I don’t think there is anything wrong, and as a matter of fact, there might be a benefit to running during the winter. But this topic is more connected to the overall benefits of running every day, or a few times a week. So, what are some of those overall benefits come from running?
BENEFITS
As a person who has been running since elementary school, I will tell you that from experience, running gives you great cardiovascular control. You also have strong blood flow and if you start early as possible it will keep you fighting over the long haul. When I was first running as a child it was nothing more than have friendly competition with other kids. But everywhere I went I was running as well. Even if I needed to go to the corner store. Little did I realize, I was constructing a very healthy young man for the future. Not to mention I ate hearty meals at home coming through my adolescent growth stage. This was a further contributor to my health and wellness.
NEVER TOO LATE TO START
If you’re thinking, well, I was never a running type of person. That doesn’t mean you have to sit down and do nothing because you never did it. Some people would say that is easy for me to say because I have been doing it for so long. Still, I go to the gym with people you can tell they are new to this, but as for running, the tread mill is where the runners reside. And then there are some weights that will allow you to get stronger. So, get out there and make it happen, but I will say start slow.
