“A month for Culture.”

March

Welcome everyone, tomorrow will be the month of March. A month that I am dedicating to culture. Yes, culture will be the topic for the month of March. Focusing on the mind and science has been a deep two months. This month will be deep, but a little more focused on something we can all connect to. No matter who you are, we all have something of cultural significance that we have a connection to in life. It can be a certain food we eat, music we listen to, or way of life. Culture is the thing that binds us in society. This one (post) I am going to keep short so that I can focus on the month of March coming in. So I hope you all enjoy this month. Like I always say keep reading, following, sharing, and liking. And if anyone needs a contributor to their page I will gladly write a piece for you. Leave a way for me to contact you via email in the comments.

HOW THEY SEE US: ANIMALS VIEWS OF PEOPLE

Bengal Tiger Half Soak Body on Water during Daytime

“Through their eyes.”

mammalia

I have always wondered how do animals see us when they look into our eyes. Do they instantly see a threat, or do they learn that as time progress. Because certain animals it is pure nature and others it can be more nature, but a little bit of learned. Now what do I mean by learned, I mean reared animals. Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, and other deadly feline animals have been known to be owned by people. Not just in a sanctuary, but as pets. This can be quite dangerous, but nonetheless, people do it. Now animals like crocodiles, alligators, and rattle snakes, it’s pure nature. No matter how much you train them, they will strike without warning.

deeper into their eyes

When you look into their eyes, what if there’s something deeper. What if they do want to reach out to us, but we are not able to harness this ability. Maybe there is a nature piece where we as people were supposed to be able to communicate with them. Mammals like chimps, orangutans, and gorillas we train better than most animals. The reason being is because they are the closest relatives to us than any other animal. So when they look at us, what do they see. Because humans have a conscious mind, but a gorilla for instance does not. So what are they really trying to figure out when they see us. Do they think they are the same as us, but can’t quite figure out how to approach the situation?

their plans

Maybe they are planning something when they see us. Because they are not too fond for the most part of humans. Animals, with the exception of cats and dogs whom we have domesticated, generally run from people. And that is something quite interesting is the running away. Is there something that the older ones communicate to the younger ones about staying away from us. Because animals love to elude people. They have been with us for eons, and know all too well in dealing with us. So yes, they do have a way they communicate when they look at us. But since we have no means of finding out, we guess. But whatever the case may be, they look into our eyes, not knowing what we think of them or them of us.

CEREBRAL REACH: WHAT IT TAKES TO HARNESS 100 PERCENT OF THE HUMAN MIND

analysis, blackboard, board

“Think about all the possibilities.”

the brain

The human brain is a very interesting and very complex organ in the human body. For the longest there has been a myth that humans only use 10% of our human brains. But that is such a bad myth, when in fact we use 100% of our brains throughout the day. The reason we have said 10% in the past is because we use such a small portion of our minds to its full potential. And that is where the confusion takes place. There is a difference between the brain in use and using the brain. Is there a science behind being able to harness the brain to its full potential? Is there a model that can be used to tap into the brain?

daily task

For the most part, our brains are used to get through the day performing mundane task. These task include cooking breakfast, completing a task on the job, exercising during the day, and raising children once you get home. These are repetitious daily task we do so much we no longer think to do them. And there lies the problem with the reason man is not able to harness the brain to its full potential of both physical and mental resources. Very few of us learn new things in life, so we stop evolving past a certain point. But for the curious ones that do continuously learn, they grow past everyone else.

use it or lose it

The brain is like any other muscle in the body that you must work over time. Just as you exercise your chest with bench pressing, or squats for leg strength, you must read to open your mind to new possibilities. You would think that I read a lot of novels pursuing writing, but I don’t. I actually read about psychology, health, motivation, biology, and social interactions. This aids in me writing characters for my screenplays because I know to a degree the human construct. So creating scenarios is easier than reading someone else’s work that is fiction. But in this, I observe people in society and base my claims about the life around all of us from the observation when people don’t think they are being watched. Which is usually the real behavior. That is how I use my mind.

scientific findings

There are so many findings in science, but I would really like to find the science of some people just born to know. I know there all these factors that play a role in those who can harness their mind to do better in life, than those that don’t succeed. Because I will be writing something not realizing how that idea got there, but it is there. Even before I started working the brain, things manifested within me. Hopefully science will be able to figure out what makes some of us able to figure out ourselves while others can’t. Below is a video from → National Geographics on the science behind the brain.

ENDING THE MONTH: WHAT WILL BE FOR NEXT MONTH’S TOPICS?

“What will be for next month?”

this month

So everyone who reads my blog, I am writing this to let you know that I am rounding out the month of February. This month was dedicated to the science field. I have analyzed various forms of the science field, whether it was wondering how man came to be. Or will we in our lifetime reach the planet of Mars as people. Engaging my audience with a good read is always a treat, and why not through the means of science. But the next month of March will be the month for culture.

cultural awareness

This upcoming month will be focused on culture in our society. Culture is very important because it strikes at the very core of who we are as people. How we build our civilizations, raise families, and communicate is all from our cultural viewpoints. So much of our identity is wrapped in culture that we push our children to a lot of times marry within and keep this cultural machine going. So I want to open the topic of culture up with not just ethnic identity, but also the culture of how we behave as a society. Because that is part of our cultural identity as well.

overall

So read, follow, share, like, and enjoy. Because each month’s goal is to better than the previous. Making strides in building my blog one post at a time.

BRANCHES OF SCIENCE AND THEIR IMPORTANCE

astronomy, atmosphere, earth

“The many uses of science.”

Science! Science! Science!

Science is such an ambiguous term, but it is the entire systematic testing through the use of explanations and predictions to figure out our universe. Now what in the world does that mean; simply put we aim at trying to figure out the world around us by making assumptions over time to get to an explanation about our past, present, and even the future. And if that still doesn’t make sense, in the hopes of trying to figure out how we came to be as humans, one way is to align ourselves with a like species. Then from that, try to figure out commonality further before moving to more complex theories.

Branches

There are so many different branches of science in society. And for the most part, we separate the sciences we study into three major groups: Natural, Formal, and Social.

Natural
  • This is the studying of a more natural phenomenon that exist in our universe: cosmic, geo, bio, and chemical. This may very well be the most complex because of the vastness of the subject. Especially once you get into areas like cosmic, in dealing with outside of Earth. You could live on Earth 100 years of your life studying this field and not even learn so much as 1% of the universe’s potential.

FORMAL
  • This area of study deals with using the mathematics as a more logical means of figuring out problems. We are now dealing with the building of an infrastructure through various means of engineering methods. And since the human brain has had to evolve for so long over time, we have used the most simplistic forms of logic to figure out building. We have 10 fingers and 10 toes. We could easily could have 100, why 10 because it is a more simplified number. Evolution is moving from what is simple to complex. So a classification of 10 is easier than 100.

architecture, britain, buildings

SOCIAL
  • And last group would have to be the social sciences of the world. This is how humans interact with each other in building and maintaining of a civilization. That is not be confused with the previous formal sciences of logic alone. But there are a variety of logic that goes into our social. Meaning we build and maintain societies on the basis of what’s good for the masses through our own logic and reasoning. But it’s not a mathematical logic decision, it’s more emotional; a feel and observation. So we have laws that say you can go to prison for murder because without these laws to keep people in check, the rate would be higher for murder. Prison isn’t a full proof method, but a pretty good deterrent from breaking laws.

children, community, family

Into the Future

Now, the question is always, “What will we discover next that falls into the three main groups of science?” Will we find a new mineral in the future that aids in our survival. Or will we find a means of traveling through space. The more complex our models become in science, the more we discover, the more we want to explore.

PERSONAL PLANT GROWTH: HOW DOES ONE APPROACH THIS SITUATION

gardening, hand, harvest

“How to feed self.”

self sustaining

I have written in previous articles regarding horticulture and growing your own crop. Even recently I wrote about the GMO’s that are in our food. But what is the science behind planting your own crop in your backyard or on land? People in America used to be farmers, now we receive much of our crop overseas, we don’t even know the first steps in our own farming anymore. I have been thinking about this recently since wanting to buy my own house one day. Do I buy a really nice house, or smaller home but utilize the land for other means. Because that house looks nice, but the land used for growing crop is a good business.

obstacles

The obstacles you would think are the growing of the crop: how to plant and how to keep growth moving along. But the main obstacles to farming would have to be the government regulations. If you want to grow crop for your own personal usage, then get straight to it. But if you want to have any operation that is going to be generating profit, then these are the following permits you will need for crops and livestock:

giving it a go

So far we have been just talking about it, why not give it a try. I wonder what type of farmer I would truly become if I tried farming. And from the looks of how health consicous our society has become, it will either be growing your own crop of forcing farms to have better standards. Yes, we can tell from the list above we already have enough standards. But there are still practices that need to change in our society. And I not only referring to the United States, but globally.

HUMAN ARRIVAL: HOW DID WE AS PEOPLE COME TO BE

Related image

“From the past into the present.”

the beginning

The scientific theory is that man started to evolve some 315,000 years in the continent of Africa. And from that point ventured out into the world coming in contact with all types of obstacles along the way. But eventually we have made our way to today and continue to evolve. Now, this does not go without criticism from people of deep religious faith who believe otherwise. But the academic belief still holds strong in our society. And these two opposing side have been at odds for hundreds of years. Even in the past people lost their lives, one in particular Galileo Galilee who challenged the churches views on the Earth.

theory based on what

Where do these theories come from, or better yet, how do scientist really know for sure how many came about? One of their ways that they observe is through observation of creatures from all different walks of life. Then from watching what we are as a creature we try to figure out the closest species. And what they have come up with that is closer to man is the idea that we broke away at some point from our ape cousins. Well, where does this come from? Through the fact that we share a 99% strain with apes. Because there is a reason why we have for so long tested apes when trying to figure out the cures for diseases in humans. When you’re dealing with a creature only 1% different then you have a lot to stand on.

continuous process

Are we still evolving, and the answer is yes. Well how do we know if man is still evolving? The reasons being that we make leaps and bounds with technological advancement. This will inevitably cause the human brain to expand, thus new creations made on Earth. Which is a form of evolution. Because the idea that we were in horse drawn wagons then cars then planes is a testament to the evolution jumps. Now we have rovers in space on the Moon and on Mars. So, to an extent the idea that we as humans evolve continuously exist, but at what time do we stop evolving? Will we ever hit a point where we just can’t know anymore. There is an end to everything; a finite amount of anything. Our universe has a time in which it will expand beyond limits. So will our minds reach a point to stop expanding.
