MEALS FOR WEIGHT LIFTING

“Food for health!”

TRYING TO GET MY WEIGHT UP

I have recently been preparing my meals in the kitchen and then sending the food to these big black bowls. These are my power bowls for weightlifting. I am trying to gain 15 pounds by the end of this summer. And I know a lot of people say, take my weight. It’s funny to hear people say that, but you want to gain good healthy weight. This becomes a job for you when trying to gain weight because you have to monitor everything you eat. The pros who do this for a living weight out their food. So that they are receiving the same amount day in a day out. As for me, I have somewhat of an idea as to how I will be meeting my gains goals. Above I have a photo of a meal that am starting to prepare for weight gains.

BASIC RECIPE

When I make my meals, it starts with me going to the grocery store. Unlike my photo at the top of the page, I tend to ground beef bowls. This is how you make this bowl.

2 BEEF BOWLS WITH RICE

1.5 Pound of Ground beef

2 Green Peppers

2 Red Peppers

2 Onions

1/2 Pound of White Rice

Can of Tomato Sauce

Corn Oil

All Purpose Seasoning

You put oil in the skillet until it heats then add the ground beef. Add the all-purpose seasoning to the meat and mix it into the beef. Once the meat is halfway done, then boil water in a pot. As the water is starting to boil, chop up the peppers and onion then add diced veggies to meat. Mix the meat together with veggies. With the water boil in the pot, add the rice and cover the lid. Continue to mix the beef and veggies as the rice cooks. Then open the tomato sauce and add it to the beef and veggies. Open the pot to see if rice is ready. Drain water from pot, then add rice to the big two eating bowls you see in the header photo at the top of this page. Once the beef is ready, add to the rice the beef and veggies to the two bowls. And there you have it. Now, sometimes I will add shredded cheddar cheese and mix it.

EAT LIGHT ALSO

As with the heavy food I eat, I always eat smaller portions of fruits and veggies. Well, more fruits than veggies in order to have a fine balance. Because the bowl I described above is also made with chicken in packs. And with that much meat, you also need something that will easily breakdown in the digestive tract. Believe it or not, the food that we eat even with exercise needs something smaller or lighter to meet your health needs. Now, for those of you reading this, what do you eat for weight gain? Or better yet, what do you do for weight gain?
