MODERATED JUNK: “HOW TO” EAT WHATEVER

Two People Holding Chips and Fried Chicken

“Unhealthy, yes; delicious, yes.”

greasy goodness

You ever look at the menu of a dish you would like to try simply because you know it’s unhealthy, but yet it taste so delicious. There is nothing better than a double cheese burger with all the condiments and toppings. Not to mention the chili cheese fries, oh yeah, and two brats with condiments and toppings. Wait, I forgot to drink it all down with a Coca Cola. That just sounds like a heart attack, stroke, heart disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal, stomach cancer, nerve damage, mess. But I am willing to bet you it taste amazing. But how did humans figure out that the most unhealthy of foods are always the best food to eat. Only the healthy dishes are the most disgusting.

watered down portions

Want a burger, then instead of eating beef, you might want to go for chicken, but make sure that chicken is grilled not fried. Or better yet and ostrich or turkey burger taste just as good if not better. But let’s be honest, how many ostriches are there on this planet that can feed everyone who want one. You like to eat fries, fine, eat then baked instead of the traditional method. Then again, they are so much more tasty when it is cooked crisp. And when it comes to having a drink, do you really need to break out the two liter, I think not. Having a cup of apple or orange juice is just fine. Better yet, when did waster stop becoming this great beverage to drink.

moderation is key

Consuming almost any meal is fine, as long as you don’t do it too often. A weekend of eating an entire cake or box of donuts is good if it’s something you do every four to five months. I have been known to eat a pound cake from the store in one sitting. Only thing is, I did this two times in the year 2018. Twice in one year is fine, but every weekend, or even every other weekend is bad for you. So know how to eat unhealthy in a healthy manner.

I am from Racine, Wisconsin where I was raised until I graduated high school back in the year 2006. That entire time growing up in my mother's house, I was a student athlete. My goal was to embark on a general business career or athletics. But injuries through sports stopped a sports path, so I decided upon business with a focus in marketing. While attending undergraduate school at University of Wisconsin-Parkside, I began to write screenplays in my senior year. At first it was for fun, but I quickly learned writing allow me to transfer negative energy into characters I created. This led to a decrease in depressing mood swings, which in turn boosted my quality of life. After undergraduate school in May of 2011, I move to New York City for graduate school. While pursuing my MBA, I continued to write screenplays, but always wanted to write novels as well. I finished graduate school back in the year 2014, but wrote screenplays until I began thinking of my first short film, first First Day Fears. While finishing my fifth feature length screenplay, I started to write my first novel this year. So far, I have finished my first short film and working on my next one (Freedomless Speech), and recently self published my first novel (The Boy Who Could Talk To God) and short stories book (Faheem Jackson Short Story Collection Volume 1). My feature length screenplays have been put on temporary hold to finish my short films and books, but I am making good progress on my sixth feature length screenplay. With year 2017 ending, I am currently writing my novel Precinct 86 and Faheem Jackson Short Story Collection Vol. 2. I have started teaching myself photography and will pursuing that by summer of 2018, along with my videography, podcast later on, and more research for my documentary.
