REAL JOBS OR JUST A JOB: WHAT WAS REALLY CREATED

Man Standing in Front of Bowl and Looking Towards Left

“What did the government really do?”

them and their creations

Every president that comes into the White House we hear the same speech about job creation. But what I really want to know is, what types of jobs for how many hours and at what pay. We hear job creation and automatically jump for joy. But just listen to how fast that disregard the question when you ask. They really are not people who create anything in America. Anytime you depend on the government to create a job it is usually in the context of providing you with the absolute basic need for what they can afford. So the thing they give you is less than adequate most of the time. So I am always a skeptic when they create something.

its the sector not them

The businesses themselves create the jobs in America, but they always have to await the government’s decisions. Because if the government makes a decision not in the best interest of the business the business can not create anything. So now the people become stuck in this tug-a-war game between the system and the business. what will be the government decision so that the organization can sit down and decide what will come of the company. And if you are an employee or someone looking for a job you could be scared each and every time a new leader takes office in the White House. Because your life is now effected, not really from the company, but their business hinges on the government decision making.

once they step back

When the government steps back then the business is able to operate a little better. Because then the globe is able to engage. But the problem with that is that there are certain places the government does not want business to operate. Only if the operation is in the best interest as what they describe as in the country’s interest. But what does that really mean because isn’t it that if the country is working the country is working? Or would it be better for the government should regulate to the point where now its own people are getting hurt. Because this is what is happening. So I guess good is good if it’s good for me is not always good.

ECONOMIC STEROID: DO WE NEED A STIMULUS AT THE MOMENT?

airport, bank, board

“We need a push from the presidency.”

economic growth

Presidents throughout history have always looked to means of promoting a good economy. And one of those ways have been through an economic stimulus to the economy. People who tax payers receiving a check in the mail as a means to put it right back into businesses. George W. Bush did this which pumped a lot of money back into the economy. So now, should this be something that President Trump consider as one of his agendas as president?

where does it go?

When the stimulus is spent by tax payers, you would think the money goes into paying bills and personal needs. But the stimulus goes towards clothing, entertainment, and restaurants. Isn’t that something, the country receives money from the government, and this is where it goes. Now don’t get me wrong, a lot of people utilize the funds for payments of bills. But so many use the funds for indulging on themselves. Yet, when people say they need money or what they would do if they had money, it’s a far cry from when they actually get that check in hand.

can we afford it?

So, now the question remains, “Is America able to afford the stimulus?” Because it’s easy to say to stimulate the economy, but will the federal government sign off on the stimulus? There is a lot this administration is trying to accomplish that is already going to be a financial strain. So the idea of a stimulus is far fetched right now. That is unless, one of the plans Trump has takes a back seat momentarily.

MAKING ILLEGAL LEGAL: BECOMING LAX ON SOME LAWS COULD BOOST ECONOMY

close -up, court, courthouse

“What used to be illegal is now legal.”

legalities

What at one point in time used to be illegal is now becoming legal. One of those things is the legalization of Marijuana in small quantities. What before could have gotten you sent to federal prison has become a lot more lax. And to add to it, there is now a market to capitalize off of the sale of Marijuana to dispensaries.

new legalities

Are there any new industries that may emerge which will open up for mass consumption which used to be illegal? And know what in particular which is still the oldest profession; prostitution. But the idea of this becoming legal in America is such a far stretch, that it’s not even worth the conversation. Now, in other countries there is a legalization, but not America. So, there goes that idea of a new industry.

why the wait

There are multiple reasons as to why the government has waited for some period of time to legalize what has been illegal. One of the reasons is that not enough time goes by where a generation sees the illegal product or service as negative. In the past years, if you had the legalizing Marijuana debate, both sides took issue.

Another reason for the wait, is what do you doo with all the people sitting in prisons for the crime. There are countless Marijuana offenders who are doing hard time in prison. Do we let them go? Because then again, the majority of them are non-violent federal offenders.

economics

Remember prohibition; the illegal sale and use of alcohol. It seems a world away from the past where drinking beer was a fine. Now, we have beer commercials during sporting events. Enough time has went by to make it ok for use and sale. But also because the amount of revenues collected by companies as well as government for the sale of alcoholic beverages. The same will be for a narcotic like Marijuana. A multi-billion dollar industry that in the next 25 – 30 years will be a blip on the radar of conversation.

BARTER FOR BUSINESS: MAKING MONEY TO NEGOTIABLE WAY

Man in Blue Top Giving Box to Man in Gray Top

“Give me what you got.”

fair exchange

Throughout human history, man has had a variety of methods of exchanging goods and services. And one of those methods was the barter system. You give me this for that, without the use of a consistent price tag. The price for this bag of potatoes is $5.00, but I you only have $3.00. Well how about this, give my the $3.00, and we’ll see what we can negotiate with that. Meaning, I will give you what amounts to $3.00 worth of potatoes. This way you get something and I do as well.

economics

Does the barter system hurt the economy? And the answer to that question is both yes and no. No the economy is not hurt because there is always a constant buying and selling of goods. Also, instead of putting items back on the shelf, you’re selling. And now the inventory that would otherwise be thrown away is used to some degree. The problem with the barter system is that it’s difficult to gauge how strong your currency is in a country. Because you’re paying with a negotiable price, money is not always reported, so it’s hard know the strength of your country via GDP.

small markets

I have stated earlier from posts that America has roughly 19,300 cities and towns. Now, the majority of those places are not major cities, but small towns and cities. And a lot of these places are in markets where jobs have shipped overseas. So is there any possibility that the barter system could work in these places. Because a lot of places are dying because of a lack of job growth. They could use the barter system. Now tell me something, what do you think?

A LOSING BATTLE: WHICH WILL BE THE NEXT CURRENCY TO SURPASS THE DOLLAR?

One U.s. Dollar Beside 100 Philippine Pesos

“Lost of confidence.”

the dollar

The American currency has been the top currency of the globe for decades. But with the Euro and the Kuwaiti Dinar surpassing the dollar, what will be the next currency. We already have the British Pound which as it stands is also ahead of the United States. Will the Renminbi of China be next, or better yet the Rupee? From the looks of things, both the Chinese currency and Indian currency will have to do some serious building to surpass the American dollar.

staying strong

Even though the dollar has appreciated in value, the strength of the dollar has still continued to push ahead of everyone else. And that’s because of the spending power of the dollar. Which can throw someone off by saying its value is down but the strength is up. And the problem in our economy lies in the economy. We have job growth, but no real career growth. Meaning how many of those jobs are well-paid positions. But also, how many people are investing in us as well. Nonetheless we hold on to control.

innovation

The fact that we used to be the innovators and are no lounger the innovators is troublesome. We are more concerned with the social aspect of life than the building of life in this country. And once the that takes place, you tend to fall off. We sit around and wait for an administration to create something for us, instead of creating ourselves. And this is why immigrants are more suited at times to succeed in America than American born citizens. We want a party to do its job for us. They come to America with the notion you must do things yourself. And we need creations and building off of preexisting things to make life better.

MADE IN AMERICAN: WILL WE EVER SEE A COUNTRY WHERE WE MAKE WHAT WE BUY

Woman Holding Us Flag during Daytime

“Keeping the system going.”

born in the usa

For the longest, products that we purchased were made in the United States. But as time progressed and America became a more modern country, it became too expensive to make products in the U.S. So companies started to move overseas for their manufacturing operations and along with it went the jobs. Now my question to you all is, will we see another mass production of goods in this country again?

machinery over man

Whatever happened to the mule plow guy when the combine was invented? Ever wonder how his life panned out? Chances are, he didn’t last in business and had to sell off his land because he couldn’t survive. And that is the same thing here as it pertains to people working in factories. The use for manpower is irrelevant at this time in history. And it’s because technology is moving to scale at a higher point than man can keep up.

boy i love a deal

Don’t we all love going to a store and buying an item on sale marked down 25% off, 50% off, and even 75%. And the reason companies can do so is because of the excess of items that need to be gotten rid of to make room for new items. But coincidentally is a reason manufacturing in America is tough as well. We walk into a store and see the same item for different prices no one is buying the same item for different prices just because it’s American.
