“You will get caught.”

online is the new offline

For the longest catching a criminal was done by means of looking through fingerprint data bases and DNA. But what happens the more crime is being taken to the internet. Then you have a whole new generation of police. You used to have officers forced to work desk duty and it was a joke. Now, you have people working in law enforcement that makes the beat cops job easier. Because now you know way more about your suspect than any other time in history. So when pursuing the suspect you need to know as much as possible.

oversharing

People in society today are so used to sharing so much as themselves that we don’t realize how open we are sometimes. And even suspects have even been known to share more then they should. So now, you really don’t have to chase to many people down. Just follow their social media and you can find out a lot. Especially considering marketers detect key strokes and send you advertisements that police can see your purchases. Since we shop online so much, then you’re able to track the purchases as well.

if you build it they will come

Now the law are building traps for criminals to walk into and it works. Whether it’s the bait truck, or a safe haven for pedophiles. They catch people all the time and arrest them. And if you’re one of these people you’re so used to breaking the law, you can’t help yourself. So what do you do, walk into the trap and get caught.

AMERIREICH: HOW RESTRICTING OUR RIGHTS COULD LEAD TO A NAZI GERMANY

“Do you feel overtaken?”

In the United States today, more than ever before the control over ones language and what is allowed to say and not say has become problematic. And coupled with the inability for those in power to be honest, America could find itself in a world like a Nazi Germany. Now do I think there will be concentration camps and extermination, no. But I do think that certain aspects of the power structure such as disregarding media can happen. Focusing blame on a centralized group of people or ideology can happen. As far as the extermination, the masses will do that to themselves. And with little trust in media, how would you believe anything is really going on.

The people who are elected to power could cause this to happen. When you have people making promises that are not delivered as well as restricting people’s ability to express themselves how they want, it opens the door for bad leadership. People feel like they gave lost their voice and they become desperate. They become  so desperate that they’ll elect someone to office no matter how bad the ideas. As long as the person follows through with their policies, they’ll follow them. While at the same time, you’re given freedoms restricted by previous people in power.

For instance, we have become sensitive to language. Now you have people in charge telling you what you can and cannot say. Then if you go against the grain, you lose everything you’ve worked for in life. This new person comes along and does not restrict language. No matter how bad the language, we stand behind them because they gives us this ability. And while we have this ability, he/she also delivers on his/her promises. They can do no wrong in the eyes of the masses. Yet, what they’re doing really might not be in the best interest of the people. This is how radicals rise to power in civilizations. The previous way creates desperation in people that they’ll vote anyone who aligns themselves with their agenda.

Well why, why would this awful person rise to power. It can’t be all about the language and not holding up their end of the bargain. See, in my opinion, it all boils down to transparency. If you live in a nation where transparency is lacking, then a bad leader can infiltrate. An awful leader infiltrating the system can lead to an even more detrimental society. It will seem like they are for the people, but in reality they have their own agenda that benefits them. Pushing their causes and discrediting media for going against it. And since the confidence in media has diminished, the leader will now have greater control with less checks and balances.

See, in the end, restricting ones’ abilities to live freely while also not holding up your end of the bargain politically, will cause chaos in society. The type of chaos which could lead to a dictator coming into a system. Creating policies that are more harmful than helpful. But transparency is key; key to society rising or falling.

LAND POLICE: WHO ALLOWS WHO TO SAY WHAT

“Why do we judge others by the stuff we say ourselves?”

Don’t say the N word, don’t say the R word, don’t say the C word. Over the recent years, the use of language has been a topic of discussion. Who can say what and how they can say it has caused many debates. We give passes to certain people to use certain language and not others. We chastise one person for voicing their opinion, then turn around and say something just as inflammatory. Yet no one sees it that way because we all want to have our say. Everyone wants to say that one magical word that will turn everyone around. But it never quite pans out that way. Well why, why have we become such a duplicitous society lately?

One of the reasons we give passes to speak for certain people and not others is because we are not a together nation. If the nation came together against the sensitivity, you would eliminate a lot of the confusion right off the back. Because in society today, we have this really loud minority group that does not represent the slightest percentage of the masses. But since their voices are so loud, we give them a pass. Yet if the masses stood up against the sensitivity, and didn’t give people this pass, it would cease. But are there any other reasons why language has been a problem in America?

Another reason is that we don’t want people to see the real us. It’s easy to look at a public figure and judge. But could you do it; could you live your life in the open 24/7, not say one word to tick off anyone? The answer is no, it’s not possible. Why isn’t it possible? The reason being is that people just need someone or something to be made about in life. You could post on social media, “Good morning, boy do I feel good.” You’ll get positive feedback, yet you’ll still get a wave of disdain. But the people very rarely come out as their real selves. They usually hide behind a private account or an Avatar photo. Now is there more that has led to the sensitivity?

A major problem for our phoniness in America today is from the idea of policing  ourselves. But not policing ourselves in a positive manner. I’m talking people who want to find any little thing you say or do on camera or any other audio/video recording device, then hurt your livelihood. We have become so satisfied with watching people spiral out of control that it becomes almost like a form of entertainment. We like to see the spiral so we can say we witnessed the greatest show on Earth. In the end, we will continue to play these games until we live in a system where you can’t say anything. By that time it will be too late to push back against.

YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT: BLACK PEOPLE AND OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE POLICE

“Why we fight.”

The Black community and the law enforcement have been at odds for decades in this country. But, unless you live among the problems, it’s quite hard to fully understand where it comes from. It’s easy to point out through the history with slavery and Jim Crow. But this goes far beyond those points in time in history. Are there any other issues that lead to this tumultuous relationship? I can name a few reasons as to why the police and the Black community have a history of bad blood. And not for reasons that we tend to talk about in the news.

One of the reasons has to do with the ethnic makeup of the police. Black and White people in America have had this history of mistrust in this country. That history goes back a few centuries that has gotten better, yet still exist. So now you look at the police and it is not a reflection of the community in which they’re serving. And to add to it, you have this Black community, and an all White police department. So old wounds are opened, even if the police are good cops. But why do the police themselves have issues with serving in these communities. It has to do with the police officers not living in the environment.

A lot of these cops who are White not only don’t live in the community, but they didn’t grow up here. For most of them, these are typically young White men, who grow up in neighborhoods totally different than the ones they’ll be policing. Not just the ethnic, but the cultural landscape is typically different than where they grew up as well. From the style of dress to the vernacular of the people who live in the area. And on top of it all, the attire has typically been criminalized. So guys are coming in with already their own mindset of the people that live there. But, there is another reason as to the issues between the police and the Black community.

Another issue is the fact that people within these communities never admit it, but tend to take issue with White authority. You may ask, what does that mean? Well, perception tends to cause a lot of problems. Because a police officer may state to someone in the community to do as you’re told. But how it’s interpreted, is seen as racially condescending. Is it that, most likely not, but that comment goes from zero to sixty fast. Because the officer sees it as not following authority, but the individual sees it as subversive racism. When these are the thoughts going through someone’s mind, it’s a wonder more incidents don’t take place.

In the end, there can’t be a society where the law enforcement and the community it protects is at odds. The police are not just community protectors, but are also first line of defense in case of a terrorist attack. So there has to be some form of coming together so that people and the police are not at odds.
