OPEN THE COAL MINES: WHY AREN’T OUR POLITICIANS HONEST ABOUT OUR FUTURES

brown coal, brown coal mining, bucket wheel excavators

“Leave the past behind, yes or no?”

the past to present

In the past, Americans were the pentacle of the world as it pertains to industry. We were king in the industrial revolution, but now the tables have turned. The new game in town is technological innovation and information; two areas where America has slacked. So what must be done to insure that the nation stays in its position on top? Because China surpassed America recently in GDP, but America regained footing on top. Now, America has regulatory laws in place that are different from China, but nonetheless they are right there with us.

industry decline

Americans make what? I’m waiting, what do we really make anymore? Our greatest creation and has been for a while is people. With regards to actual Panoramic Shot of Skygoods and services, we are slowly losing our position. A great deal of our livestock, fruits, and vegetables come from outside America; not to mention about 80% of our seafood. We have become major importers, instead of major exporters as well. We are not making anything that world needs, that the world can get from us less than anywhere else. So what are we to do?

land usage

America has a lot of land, yet we only utilize a small portion of the land for farming. You would think is a fully-functional country, yet so much of our land is preserved for wildlife conservation. But we can’t just start growing crops. Bird's Eye View Of FarmlandFarming doesn’t work that way, it’s a lot that has to go into making sure the land is able to sustain whatever you’re growing. It takes more than just throwing some seeds into the ground and growing crop.

bad ideas

I know this for certain, opening the steel mills, coal mines, and paper mills is not smart. Because anyone who understands even anything basic about business at that level is that when someone creates something better, bye bye. Meaning, we reopen factories, and someone comes along with a better more effective idea, it renders the factory obsolete. I always use the mule puller example. Families used harnesses for themselves attached to mules for farming, until the combine came along. When was the last time you saw a mule puller? Like I said, evolution is a continuous progression from what is basic to what is complex. Factories are basic today; at one point in time, they were complex. But in today’s society an evolution is taking hold, so we must move on.

OVEREXPANSION: WILL GLOBAL CONFLICTS ARISE FROM COUNTRIES GOING BEYOND THEIR BORDERS

astronomy, discovery, earth

“Will we see another world war?”

expansion

As countries become more and more concerned with growing their economies, they will also want to expand beyond their borders. And once Related imagethis happens, you’re talking major global conflicts. But to the country expanding, they feel what they are doing is in best interest of their government and its people. One country particular will be China. China is just too big population wise to house all the people that they have; so you know what that means.

religious conflicts

As people expand out, economies could become effected from the various religious groups that are based in certain parts of the world. And if you’re trying to expand Image result for mecca into the Middle East, then you’re going to have problems. They are highly conservative in their views and trying to expand into their regions could prove costly; both economic and with lives. And losing lives in addition to the financial windfall is not something a nation wants to promote.

ethnic conflicts

Now moving into regions of the world where no one looks like you can cause problems as well. Imagine the issues that will take place once countries make their way into Africa. This is going to give radicals a serious ability to maintain. Why, well because no one will flinch over Africans being pushed out of their own homelands. So desperation will cause alliances, which will in turn cost more time and money to combat. Thus taking the world once again into financial binds.

corporations

Multinational corporations are prevalent everywhere in the world. But there are places where certain companies have a stronghold in their respective regions more than others. What would happen if banks from other countries Image result for corporationsstarted pushing out American institutions? And now American citizens are banking with foreign entities that have no reason to care for us as a nation. Now you have a conflict that cause stress on our economy.

too much already

We already have enough social and political strife that effects our society as it is, anymore could negatively effect an economy. But what are nations to do with a growing population that can’t live in the environments they already inhabit? Maybe this is another reason why North Korea and South Korea also are ending the war. Old rivals may form new alliances, and that is another way to expand without having to deal with conflicts and a hit to the economy.

SELF-SUSTAINING HARVEST: WILL THE GOVERNMENT EVER ALLOW US TO DO SO

Man Watering the Plant during Daytime

“It’s not that we can’t, we’re not allowed.”

caring for self

Throughout history, farming has been a major aspect of America life. But since we get so many of our crops from outside the country, we are not producing crop here anymore. Why don’t we produce more crop here and become exporters. Or better yet, why are we not self-sustaining? A major reason why is because the United States government has such a strong hold on crop.

The United States government is notorious for telling and even enforcing people not to grow crop. But why are we not allowed to grow and sustain ourselves? There are literally people with their own land starving because they can’t grow what they want on their own land.

what is self-sustaining

When I say self-sustaining, it could mean not only growing your own crop, but also selling the crop you grow. And here is where you will run into problems. When you are trying to build a form of commerce in the space. Because you have a host of sanitary issues that the government will interject themselves within. So what are you to do? What could we really do?

ambiguous sustaining

Now, we already have self-sustaining, and it is called freelance workers. People who are freelance work on their own without a boss/supervisor watching over their work. But when it comes to crop, being freelance is a lot different. Which is odd because anyone can open a restaurant, but it’s hard to sell your crop to anyone. Nonetheless, we have plenty of self-sustaining people.

So in the government’s eyes, self-sustaining already exist. Yet self-sustaining can easily be misconstrued with self-sufficient. Self-sufficient is taking care of “ones” self without outside help and self-sustaining is more of a “systematic” form of sustaining. But as much as we would like the government to allow us sustainability, they will always step in front of our progress.

COMING IN STRONG THIRD PLACE: WHO WILL BE THE NEXT COUNTRY TO SURPASS THE UNITED STATES ECONOMY

Bitcoins and U.s Dollar Bills

“We were kings, kings no more.”

our economy

The United States economy has been the leaders of of the world for decades as far as our economy. But in the recent years, the country of China has become the new face of the global marketplace. Their GDP eclipsed the United States, and there could be others to come along next. Yet the United States has since then regain control as the number one country.

But who will it be to surpass the United States? And another question is, why would another country surpass the United States? A country which has long been the nation that the rest of the world looked to as the standard.

competition

As I said before, we all know that the country of China is America’s main competition. But who is next to come from behind and rival our country?

GERMANY

They are a force to be reckoned with, not only because their economy as it pertains to GDP is fourth in the world, but they are also known for their Image resultengineering. America is not the innovators of the world anymore, and Germany ever since the fall of the Berlin Wall has been making leaps and bounds in growing their economy. Who knows, they could be the pinnacle of freedom in the future.

INDIA

A fast growing economy that is rapidly in a position to rival China with a growth rate increase by at least .1% each year. Doesn’t sound like much, but Horizontal tricolor flag bearing, from top to bottom, deep saffron, white, and green horizontal bands. In the centre of the white band is a navy-blue wheel with 24 spokes.when you are talking trillion dollar economies, even .1% is a lot of growth. That means India currently has approximately a $2.2 trillion economy; with .1% growth, that’s $2.2 billion dollars.

JAPAN

Japan has had to rally back from an economic crash that took place in the Image resultearly 1990’s. But they are on the upswing with an economy that is fifth in the world. They could eventually be the next nation in the distant future to rival the United States.

it ain’t all about numbers

Even with so many countries coming from behind the United States, it’s not all about the numbers. There is a personal/social piece that makes America stand out from the rest. And freedom that we have exist, but there are also major barriers in other countries as well. Don’t get me wrong, we have our problems, but we are a tough force to be reckoned with on Earth.

You would need more than just numbers to surpass America. Because we still have a population of whatever group could pass us in America contributing to this country.

A POT PRESENCE: HOW MARIJUANA WILL CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE OF AMERICA

Image result for WEED

“The business is booming.”

marijuana game

There have been so many arguments and debates over the legalization of marijuana. But today, there are multiple states where you can purchase the drug. Now there are some stipulations when growing and selling the plant. Because it’s legal by the state, yet federally the plant highly illegal. Meaning, watch what you transport across the state lines.

And if do, you better sure have a damn reason. Otherwise it’s off to prison you go.

business as usual

In places such as California, you can grow from your own farm to sell to dispensaries. Or you can be a dispensary yourself. Only problem is the startup costs associated with starting a farm or a dispensary. You must have a lot of capital and be quite liquid in your value. And how many people are liquid in America, which leaves the door open to a chosen few.

medical

There are many uses for marijuana that aid people in their daily lives. Whether it’s someone with problems concerning their vision or some other debilitating illness. But with the medical uses for marijuana, what are the odds that the healthcare industry will find a way to sneak themselves into the business. I mean, they have the financing and marketing ability.

here they come

Like I said prior, better watch out for the healthcare industry. Because once they find an in, they are going to be all in. And that’s when the little guy in business will be pushed aside. The pharmaceutical industry just has way too much money and clout to have competition from the outside. But for those who do pose some sot of threat, be prepared to be put out of business and fast.

SMALL TOWN CHANGES: WHAT ARE WE TO DO WITH SO MANY SMALL TOWNS IN AMERICA

“Use them or demolish them.”

America’s towns

The United States is known for its diverse major metropolitan cities. But what about the small towns and cities in America that hold less than 100,000 as its population. Who comes from across the country and around the world to visit these unknown locations? And the answer to that question is no one. Trust and believe, I come from a small town in the Midwest; population 75,000.

And I can tell you first hand, people don’t visit, we as Racine citizens of Wisconsin spend our time and money elsewhere. So what happens to a city where people spend outside? The problem is that the places where they spend increase in value, but their places decrease.

the stats

The United States is home to a lot more small towns and cities than major cities. As a matter of fact, the graph below shows the following data collected from a statistical website regarding America’s towns and cities. The website where this information can be found is: click → statista. As you can see we have 85% of America’s 19,505 towns/cities are populated with 10,000 or less people, while American major cities constitute for less than 1%. As a matter of fact, we have only 10 cities in American with over 1 million inhabitants.

what to do with all these places?

Now, with so many places, what are chances that we condense some of these cities and make a few more majors over time. The options are either take some of the cities with 100,000 that are close in proximity and make them into 500,000 to 1 million cities; or we could take a group of 10,000 to 20,000 towns and make them into medium sized cities in proximity of major cities.

Because think about this in context of jobs. No one is bringing jobs to a town of less than 10,000; hell, even a small city of less than 100,000 people. There need to be enough of a population to sustain the city or else how do you do so. That’s why when presidential candidates run for office saying they will create jobs, it aids major cities. But the small towns and cities fall off.

land value

What to do with all this unused land?” Because there are just too many places where too much is not being properly utilized. But, we can’t use a lot of land for crop because due to so much privately owned, overly urbanized, and preserved, our 1.9 billion acres we have dwindles down to a small amount. But we have to do something because our population is spread over these places.

But what you’re noticing is a young generation moving to bigger cities from their small towns. And as a generation dies off, you’ll have a whole host of small ghost towns, and massive major cities with populations exceeding 15 – 20 million people.
