“Just keep going.”
Anytime you are working in the business field and you are succeeding, there are those moments when you start to feel like you’re not doing much, or the drought. And the drought is when you start to go cold, and the money starts slowing down. People tend to let moments like this bring them way down. But if you have built your business to success, you should know how to deal with times like these. Because if not for times like these you never would have made it this far. So theoretically, it should be easy to bring yourself back up. But it really isn’t that easy.
An enemy to success in business is comfort. People fight to gain in a particular aspect of their lives then they relax. And relaxation is dangerous because there is always someone behind you trying to fight to have your position. Now, if you have the life you want and relax then more power to you. But there are so many people who drought, then they go even deeper. They should try to go back into the times when they had nothing. That fire, that edge is not there anymore. Sometimes they try forcing it, but end up worsening the situation.
dig yourself out
Trying to get out of this place is tough. And if you have been successful for quite a while almost lose how hard it was for you to succeed. But once you find that ability to deal with the changes that come with being in business, you can bounce back. And most people who experience the setback bounce back. Those overnight success people have a harder time making it out of the drought. They have not put in the time so they are not ready for those moments. So when they hit, these people fall hard, and fall off. But the ones who are resilient went through all the pain early on so they are able to anticipate the drought.

“The hurt and the pain, yet where is it coming from.”
Do you have mood swings that cause you to cry at times out of nowhere? You’ll be performing some task, or even casually walking up the street. I had one of those moments today while at work. And to keep people from asking what’s wrong, I turned my back to them. But now that my shift is over at work, I had forgetton about the instance until now. So what was it that made me go through this moment of emotional low? Is there some sort of imbalance in life? Or, is it a sign of something deeper? It can be uncomfortable to tear up out of nowhere. Because when someone asks what’s wrong, you can only say nothing. Making up a lie will only mean creating a new lie at every pass. So you have to ignore people until you get over this emotional low.
What’s even creepier at times is that you conjure up an image at times that never took place. And then you might cry just thinking about what if it were true. For example, you play out a scenario of yourself getting sick and breaking the news to your family. Then you cry just thinking about all the people that would get hurt by your sickness. What’s creepy is that you’re not sick. You just made it all up in your head for the sake of feeling hurt about something. Sounds like some sort of mentally ill sickness. And you would be right, but this is uncomfortable for so many to talk about because there is a psychological aspect to it. No one wants to think of themselves as crazy, but what could it be? Why would anyone want to cry for the sake of crying even when life is going well? I have a few suggestions as to why.
One of the reasons we lean on emotion is because we may lack emotions at times. This forcing yourself to be emotional even at irrational times makes us feel alive. I know I am not someone who shows a lot of emotion. So I’ll think of a strong memory, and from that comes tears. But it does not always have to be about feeling hurt. Some times you might find yourself crying about something good that is or going to happen. You get this weird euphoric feeling and then comes the tears. I have also had this before in my life as well. And all these different emotions like I said prior have some type of psychological implication connected to them.
In the end, emotions are real and they are what make us feel alive. No matter if the emotion is brought on by hurt or pain; or if you get the feeling to rejoice. And rejoice is interesting considering we always associate crying with feeling sad. But don’t be alarmed regarding your mental stability. Involuntary crying is more natural then you think.

“What is your vice?”
The topic of narcotics use has been a subject for debate for the past five decades. But narcotics has popped its head up again in a new epidemic. Heroine use is back up again as well as Cocaine use on the west coast. And sad part about it, it’s a young generation that is using the drugs. Videos have been posted on social media of people and their drug use. Some of which are sitting in the front seats of their cars overdosing. So what is the reason for so much drug use? Especially a narcotic that has already proven to be a problem in the past. The 1960’s and 1970’s were a major Cocaine and Heroine usage time period. Now all of a sudden it’s back again.
On of the reasons that people have been using more drugs today than previous years is because of depression. So many people feel they need an escape from whatever it is that they are feeling bad about in life. Instead of facing the world head-on, people feel that they can only defeat their demons through drug use. The problem with that is that the narcotic creates a whole new set of demons worse than the ones you’re already defeating. So if you’re suffering from depression because you lost your job, then using narcotics is going to make you feel better in the moment, yet worse when the high comes down. And that brings me to my next reason why people use narcotics; unhappy with quality of life and needing an escape.
When I say quality of life, I mean employment situations. In society today, so many people are looking for work. So many people are unhappy with their current jobs and want anything better than what they have at the moment. So with the little money they do have, they get high. The only problem is that when you use a little money, it quickly turns into a lot of money. And that’s when you really crash because you find yourself dipping into your rent, mortgage, utilities, and personals money. And after this happens so many people find themselves sleeping in the street. This is the place known as rock bottom. The absolute lowest point in life; homelessness.
But it’s not all sorrow as to why so many people use narcotics today. Another reason is the social aspects of drugs. People use drugs to fit into their social circles. I have been hearing that on the west coast there has been an increase in Cocaine usage among young millennials. And it is so casual that no one is even talking much about it, almost like it’s perfectly normal. You would think that a lot of their parents who remember the past decades of heavy narcotics use would warn them. But then again, that’s assuming that parents know their children are using drugs. In the end, there many different reasons why people use heavy narcotics today. But unlike the past decades, prescription drugs are becoming an even bigger problem than narcotics. But even with all the downsides of narcotics people continue to still use heavily.
