“How do I get it?”

from the bottom

Coming from a poor background, how does one go about making money in life? Or better yet, how does one set up their life so they can build what they want and sustain themselves in society financially? Because when you come from a poor background, you really don’t have a clue what it means to have money or make it. You have all these ideas as to how to make money. But there aren’t people around to show you the ropes. I know for me growing up, I came from a poor family and community. People’s views of making money is either struggle with no light at the end of the tunnel, or criminality as a means of getting by.

don’t pass of a good mentor

We look around for all these resources for trying to earn in society. But we always fail to utilize the people that are the closest to us. The ones who have went off to make themselves successful and now they can provide you with proper guidance. Now you have to put in a lot work yourself just to get their attention. But it should become a fluid relationship. Don’t come to them with nothing and don’t look for them to sit down and consistently show you things. Because then again, they have their own business to tend to as well. So learn not to be a pest when reaching out for help.

read and learn, really

People really know how to pass on the best way to make money in America. And that is good old fashion learning for yourself. Maybe 40 or 50 years ago you didn’t have many resources. Now there is enough information to put yourself in the know. The problem is that outside of people’s daily jobs, they don’t really put themselves in the know with the information out here. They simply live their lives and exist. Now, I can’t say that people have boring lives, some just haven’t found the thing they are truly good at in life. And problem is, most will never find that thing. But when you do find that thing, focus on it. Read and learn as much as possible. Because to make money and sustain you much have a base of knowledge.

“Read more and learn more.”

why we stop

As adults, the vast majority of us will reach an age where we completely stop learning. And when I say completely stop learning, I mean academically. And the age we stop is young, usually in our mid 20’s. That is odd considering the average person lives to be 78 years of age. So for the next 50 years, people rarely pick up a piece of material out of curiosity and learn something new. Only problem is that when there is a new way of life in a civilization that creates a new lane for growth, people have a hard time matriculating.

learn wash learn

The brain has to be cleaned at every stage of life so that you make room for new information otherwise you don’t evolve past where you are in life. So let’s say you want to move from being poor to middle class. You have to clean your mind of what keeps you in poverty and replace that with new information. You learn things that are not taught to you in schools by an instructor. This way you’re ahead of the curve past those that are not interested in learning anything new.

mental status

Our emotional state has a lot to do with why we have a hard time learning. If you are not in the best place in life, you will have a hard time focusing and concentrating on important subject matte. You will spend a lot of your time in a rut and slump. So anything that comes your way that can possibly help you, you reject the information. And some people are so dependent on their slump that they become content and never grow.

“Really, used for learning.”

the television

When the television was first invented, it was designed to be used as a tool to educate the public. Now, the television is used as a medium to entertain people. Image result for first tvAnd for the longest, the entertainment came from the radio. So how and why did it change over time? Because I think the television can still be used as an educational tool, but we choose not to use it for such method.

what have we learned

Once we realized in society that we could use not only language, but the imagery coming from the television as a means to push an agenda, that is when television transformed. Because now you have a way to dramatically play out what it is you have to say. Before on radio, you had to conjure up your own image, which forced people to have a creative mind.

But today, television doesn’t make you think anymore. And that comes from having to compete with the internet. So now, the television is more so built around who can get information out there the fastest, not necessarily who can educate the public. Yet, the public ourselves can still be educated, but choose not to. Then again, what is real and fake anymore in our society.

the new television

What’s interesting about the television’s original use, is that it still exist, but on the internet. And it exist on the YouTube website. That’s right, YouTube is not only a website where we listen to music and watch entertaining content, but there are also tutorials to learn trades. Anything you want to learn, someone has a YouTube channel dedicated to teaching you.

Doesn’t matter if it’s woodcarving, painting, or even learning mathematics, someone has a video for it. This would be a case of the television innovated from what it was in it’s origins.

what next

With the continuous innovation of the AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) capabilities what will be the next tool for learning. Because these headsets are already trying to make their way into schools across the country. Image result for ar and vrBut eventually, they will prove to be a problem as well. And then, we’re going to have to continue past this point as well.

Image result for STUPIDITY

“Why are we so F**K’N stupid!” “Why people, why!”

People in today’s society have this problem that I call Lazy Stupidity and Delayed Consciousness. I take issue with people like this because they have popped up in record numbers in the recent years. Why am I so upset about them? It’s because we have allowed this stupidity to win. And what I mean by winning I mean, we have allowed the lowest common denominator the access of being right. But at the same time, we also love not being in the know. In the past people would work hard to seek out information. But since today we are so inundated with information, it’s almost as if getting facts is a waste of time. Or better yet, maybe lies sound better.

Let’s start off by discussing the first issue. And that is why do we allow these ill informed, undesirables the ability to have a voice in society. And I don’t mean just any voice. I mean why are they allowed to win. It’s because we have this silent majority in the country. And that silent majority just nods their head and agrees. But that loud minority is so loud that at times, things appear to be a problem when it’s really not a problem all. You know who they are, the trolls who go on Instagram and Facebook. They leave long detailed hate messages that when you break each sentence apart you can see their own mental anguish. The good ones say stuff like, “Nice work,” “Good luck,” and “Love you.” “The people with something negative to say leave messages that could rival this blog post.

Why do we let them win? Why even pay attention to the comments? There are probably so many others that are nice, but we have to read the long passages. These long passage writers also have something else that makes them undesirable; they love not being in the know. Everyone like using words like, “#WOKE,” or “#CONSCIOUS.” But with the state of context being ruined, people think they’re woke, but really it’s nothing but a bunch of sleep walkers. For example, the heading of a story says, “CELEB GETS BREAST IMPLANTS, WAY TOO BIG!” What I generally do is go, click the link and read the story. Too often, people look at the photo, and the article heading, then comment without gaining any knowledge on what the topic is about.

This lack of getting facts I read once before in a comment section about NFL players showing support for troops. A few dyed their cleats in the USA flag. This was done right after athletes knelt during the national anthem. Yet people in the comment box ripped them. But they only read the part where the previous week, guys protested. You would think once the right information was given to them they changed their stance. No, they had to stick by their points. Yet another example of how you have to deal with the ill informed. This exist in other facets of life as well, politics being a major topic. We read news articles, not even knowing if it’s credible, we’ll feed right into it because the lie sounds so much better than the truth.

In the end, society love not knowing and using that unknown to express how they feel about a particular topic. Notice I said feel. An ill informed individual who is fueled through emotions will never have a rational point in a conversation. They only see their reasoning and that’s it. This is why I can’t understand why we’re letting them win. But you what I’ve come to the conclusion of in regards to these people. Allow them to rant and hate on a keyboard. Because while they rant you can gain real insight that will enrich your own life. Then you can eventually go off and create the news they continue to converse over.
