“Where does your hurt come from?”
FINE ON THE INSIDE, HURT ON THE INSIDE
What happens in life when you feel good health wise? Better than you have ever felt in your life, but you still are not happy. That is the feeling of so many people. They feel sick and go to the doctor’s office only to find out they’re good. So what is the issue with them feeling so bad? I have been down this road where I feel hurt but I am not hurt. What could it possibly be that is making me hurt so bad. And I have written in prior posts how I have dealt with depression in my life. Where does this come from?
PLACES OF ORIGIN
Now, we can look to all these scientific reasons why we are physically healthy but mentally broken. It could be a chemical imbalance, or you are worrying about issues that are out of your control. People who consistently stress are the hypochondriacs and more severe are those who suffer from Munchausen Syndrome. Is there a definite way to cure such issues with people internally? Will there ever come a day where we figure out a cure for hurt, anxiety, and depression; best guess is no.
There are ways that you can fix such issues. Now, that doesn’t mean everyone will be cured, but there are ways to treat. And even means of treating for those unable to afford clinical treatment.
- Admit that you are hurt and in pain. Knowing what the issue is, is important in finding a treatment.
- Be honest with yourself and be able to decipher if the problem is something within or outside. I say this because a lot of people have problems stemming from themselves. Yet they need someone else to shift blame to besides themselves.
- Next, know and understand that you are not alone with the issue that you have in life. So many deal with the same problems that you have to bear.
- Find a means of sharing your thoughts of how you feel in life. This is why I blog, write my books, and screenplays. Finding a way to cope with all you have to deal with by expressing yourself and getting it out into the world. Know you will be critiqued, but it’s about the bigger picture.
- Realize that putting yourself out there and excepting yourself removes the power others could potentially have to use your hurt against you.
- From taking back control over yourself and sharing with the world, you have the confidence to persevere. Living your truth is the most powerful realization in the world.
- Continue to persevere, but don’t forget for one moment where you used to be once you get to where your happiness takes you. It’s far too easy to get lost and digress back to those hurt times.
Above all, happiness is such an ambiguous term. What does that really mean? What does healthy living really mean? Some people never smoke and get cancer, while others drink a lot and live to great ages. Some people will have an abundance of wealth and lack satisfaction, while others live middle class and always remain content. Finding your balance is the main focus when living the good life.

“What if confidence is lost?”
The United States currency has been a long subject of debate. And that debate is, what is our money really worth? Because in reality it’s just paper. And the real confidence is in our economy. Because if our economy begins to decline, then what are these sheets of paper? Well then, could it happen? Could we see America fall into a second Great Depression twice in America’s history? With the industrial age looking more and more like something of the past, what is going to replace it? It’s going to be this new technological space. Yet we have an uneducated populace who are not only unaware, but not willing to learn this new way. And with that comes uncertainty within the market. And now what you have is uncertainty in our dollars as well. So what do you do about the potential value of the American dollar falling or even collapsing?
The fear of this could send the nation into a tail spin. We are already behind the Euro and the British Pound. And with China now the largest economy in the world, who knows, their currency could be next to surpass us. Then, once all these different currencies start to pass us, can we truly say we are still this great nation? How are we such a great place when places that are seen by us as not as great surpassing us? That image dies and so does the status of America. Now, am I saying brace yourself for a catastrophe, no. But we should be mindful of the sensitivity of the market. Let’s say though for a minute that our system does collapse. What could this mean for the countries who we owe money to in debt? Would this mean that we would have to start cyphering off assets we do have left.
These various assets could mean natural resources, or better yet, land. Imagine the chaos if people found out that we no longer were in control of our land anymore. Like I said, this is still a stretch, but it has happened before. And in the end, that is the true fear. Chaos has happened once before. And for some reason, we as people tend to always forget history and repeat the same mistakes. Hopefully, we are able to maintain our confidence in our dollars and our economy can grow. Otherwise, we’ll fall victim to our own lack of hubris and ignorance.

“Why do they build you up just to see you fall down?”
Growing up, you come from nothing and work your ass off. Eventually you become a success. People flock to you because they know where you came from in life. Everyone loves a rags to riches story. It gives them hope of maybe not quite the financial success, but a better way of life than they have at the moment. But where does this veer off into a whole other path. What do I mean by that; I mean what makes people become irritated with you? It’s almost as if your continuous success begins to make people sick of you.
Well why; why do people want to see a train wreck even though they know how far you’ve come in life. Ok, to be honest, everything is in context. I don’t think everyone hates you because your continuous success means you have a pretty good base of people who patronize your work. I’m talking about the people who want to be around for the collapse. Celebrities have to deal with people like this on a national level, but the everyday Joe has to deal with the same thing as well. But how does the average Joe deal considering the people that hate on them are usually friends and family.
I have a few reasons as to why people love to see the train wreck once you’ve become successful. One of the reasons is that people want to still be able to connect to you. Once you’re successful and that’s it, you become someone they can’t relate to. Your screwing up and falling shows that slight bit of normal to that person who doesn’t like you. Without a fall, especially if you’re really successful, they grow to be resentful.
Which leads to my next reason as to why people love to see a fall. The other is the feeling that your success is confirmation that they have not done much in life. If you worked in your 20’s and they partied, but now you’re very financially by age 30 and they have just become serious, they’ll sometimes resent. They realize that if they could have those ten years back, it could be different. The more successful you become the more they resent. Eventually, if the person is someone close to you, you have no other choice but to lose that relationship.
In the end, I don’t care how much disdain you receive, never compromise. And when someone hates you because you’re successful, become more successful. Learn to get revenge by being great. Not to rub it in the faces of people who hate you. But show them they don’t have an effect. Because once you crack under the pressure, they’ll continue to forge ahead. But remember to also never lose sight of the people who love you for achieving your dreams. And note that if you’re still successful, you have more love than hate.
