HUMAN ARRIVAL: HOW DID WE AS PEOPLE COME TO BE

“From the past into the present.”

the beginning

The scientific theory is that man started to evolve some 315,000 years in the continent of Africa. And from that point ventured out into the world coming in contact with all types of obstacles along the way. But eventually we have made our way to today and continue to evolve. Now, this does not go without criticism from people of deep religious faith who believe otherwise. But the academic belief still holds strong in our society. And these two opposing side have been at odds for hundreds of years. Even in the past people lost their lives, one in particular Galileo Galilee who challenged the churches views on the Earth.

theory based on what

Where do these theories come from, or better yet, how do scientist really know for sure how many came about? One of their ways that they observe is through observation of creatures from all different walks of life. Then from watching what we are as a creature we try to figure out the closest species. And what they have come up with that is closer to man is the idea that we broke away at some point from our ape cousins. Well, where does this come from? Through the fact that we share a 99% strain with apes. Because there is a reason why we have for so long tested apes when trying to figure out the cures for diseases in humans. When you’re dealing with a creature only 1% different then you have a lot to stand on.

continuous process

Are we still evolving, and the answer is yes. Well how do we know if man is still evolving? The reasons being that we make leaps and bounds with technological advancement. This will inevitably cause the human brain to expand, thus new creations made on Earth. Which is a form of evolution. Because the idea that we were in horse drawn wagons then cars then planes is a testament to the evolution jumps. Now we have rovers in space on the Moon and on Mars. So, to an extent the idea that we as humans evolve continuously exist, but at what time do we stop evolving? Will we ever hit a point where we just can’t know anymore. There is an end to everything; a finite amount of anything. Our universe has a time in which it will expand beyond limits. So will our minds reach a point to stop expanding.

HUMAN REPRODUCTION: HOW DID THE FIRST HUMANS KNOW SEX LED TO MORE PEOPLE

Image result for human reproduction

“How did we figure it out?”

reproduction

Upon ejaculation the sperm enters the vagina and sticks to the walls. There is no guarantee that the sperm will get her pregnant, but for the sake of the topic let’s say she does. Of the millions of sperm that make the destination, only one will fertilize the egg. And once that happens, over the course of 9 months a baby is born into the womb of a woman. Then, when it’s time, a child will be brought into this world. That child will grow and most likely give life, thus the continuation of the human chain of existence. Now my question is, how did the first humans manage to make it happen?  How did the first people manage to know that sex would create a human? What was the thing that they attempted which made them engage in sex.

accidental intercourse

What if we found out about sex by accident? Maybe we were trying to figure things out as humans would today, and stumbled upon procreation. The discovery of anything has come by way of accident. Human arousal is the same as any other mammal. And yet we tried numerous ways to cope with this sense of arousal. As with a monkey placing a stick in a hole to try to worm out ants, that is an accident in itself. You see this being of the opposite sex, not understanding why we feel a certain way, we test things out. The sense of touch has aided man in figuring out a lot. But once they figured out that intercourse not only created humans, but brought about pleasure, it became paramount to our existence.

in the know

Once we became aware, it was time to expand beyond our borders into other areas. Because the curiosity about ourselves became more important. Also the numbers of us grew into greater amounts, so we moved out from which we initially dwell. But putting ourselves in the know does not only aid us in the past, but also in the future to come. And what’s crazy, there are families we will never know their existence because they didn’t figure it out and died off.

CRACKING THE AGE OF MAN: WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT

Image result for oldest HUMAN found

“The interesting look into the human species.”

Scientist have recently found the oldest human remains in Morocco that date back some 300,000 years ago. Up until now one of the oldest sites was in present day Ethiopia. And there are a lot of questions being raised that go back in time. But I now have a few theories of my own regarding ancient history of humans. And my theory is maybe we didn’t just evolve in Ethiopia and spread out over the world. Maybe we were evolving at different parts of the world and we all share a common DNA link. Because would this mean that life for humans originated in present day Morocco. Because the bones in Ethiopia are 100,000 years younger.

And if this is all true, what does this say about human evolution. I wonder will anymore bones be found that go back even further in human history. Or will we find out that the Earth may be older as well. We as people have so much about the world that we don’t know about. We’re so wrapped up in Image result for oldest human foundthe constructs of what man has created, that we lose sight of the nature aspects of life. Nature aspects such as how we managed to figure ways to populate ourselves. Sexual procreation is something we know and just do. But did we know that then. How expansive was our human minds? Or was it something that nature put in us to just do and we didn’t think to understand why. Kind of like any other species. They don’t know they are procreating they just do it.

But, I have another question regarding the age of man. If scientist keep finding remains that are older and older, what will this do to the faith base in society. See, the belief in a deity is from faith. There is nothing tangible Close Up Photo Of Holy Biblethat points to anything spiritual as the creation of man. Yet science has always been the obliteration of religion. Because the more we learn about our human existence, the less religion has relevance in society. For hundreds of years, there has been a clash between the science community and the religious community. And this is a fight that does not look to be slowing down anytime soon.

In the end, the findings of scientist have left us as humans baffled for centuries. And will continue to leave people baffled the more we find out. I read somewhere one time that asteroids carry cells made possible for life to evolve. Could it be that we find out that humans are the real aliens. Maybe this planet was not mean’t to support us. That in itself would have so many implications as to the age of man. Because asteroids are leftover rock from the Big Bang, which is believed to have created our universe. Maybe, just maybe there is life in another universe. But, the more we research the more we will learn.

SO UNFAIR, YET OH SO FAIR: WHAT DOES LIFE REALLY MEAN?

Image result for LIFE

“What is your meaning of it?”

Life is unfair! I finally got life figured out! Life sucks! These are the statements that people make when asked about life. So many say that you have to live your whole life to actually figure it out. But do you really need your entire life to figure out life. But let’s be clear about something regarding what really is life. Are you talking the living or talking just life in general? Because we use this interchangeably, but both have different meanings. The word life is existing, it’s what I am doing in this moment typing. Or it’s what you’re doing in the moment reading this topic. But the idea of living on this planet is a whole other ball game. So what is so tough about life on Earth?

Well, for starters, let’s observe what life is. As a life form, we are Carbon based that has taken just over one million years to fully evolve. We’re still evolving, but the change is something we can’t take notice to in the present state. Our life expectancy is 40 years of age, but due to scientific research we live to be 78 years of age.  So to say that life is not fair, just does not resonate with me. What is so unfair about the idea that humans only have a one in seven million chance of life anyways. And if you don’t know what I mean by one in seven million, only one sperm will fertilize an egg in seven million. With those odds, life is a great existence. Now, on the other hand life is hard and life is unfair.

But let’s observe what it means to have a hard life. You wake up every morning, and go to your day job. After work, you come home eat and watch television. Monday through Friday is your routine, then Friday evenings you hang out. Saturdays are lounge or errand days, while Sundays prepare you for Monday. The majority of people on Earth will live like this until they die. So to them, an existence might be rather mundane. But that only tells me the their daily regimen. What about if they have utilities piling up, rent to pay, mortgages, loans, and personal expenses. The average person struggles financially, meaning you’re more than likely not working a job you like. And this is where the saying life is unfair comes into play.

But let’s pause for a second. This in itself only tells me people’s hardships. It does not explain why life is unfair. That’s because in reality life is not unfair; life is very fair, too fair to be real about it. What is unfair is the aspect of dealing with people. If every human on Earth vanished and you were the only one left, what would be your hardest struggle. A lot of people would say survival. But you now have unlimited fruits, vegetables, water, resources for shelter and clothing. How can life be a struggle? Because people regulate food and water. I live near the Atlantic Ocean, and if I were hungry and needed food, it would be a crime to fish from the water. So most people would say life isn’t fair. But life is the waters, life is the sea life. There is nothing unfair about that. It’s people who established a gaming commission so I can’t fish.

In the end, we feel that so much around us is unfair. Yet the Earth has an abundance of resources. The fact that you don’t have the access is not that life is unfair. People have created means of making it virtually impossible to gain access to those resources.  So the way to thrive throughout life is not to think of life as unfair. But if you can manage to navigate the minefield that is us, humans on Earth, then you’ll be fine.

GONE AND FORGOTTEN: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF ALL PEOPLE VANISHED FROM EARTH?

“What if we weren’t around?”

I sometimes think about what life would be like if people disappeared from Earth. My intrigue sparked when I first saw the television show on the Discovery Channel Life After People. It was a one hour show that would explain what happens if people were to vanish from Earth. The show talked about the animals would reclaim the land, and how long it would take for the building we built to collapse. Almost immediately, grass and trees would grow into the buildings and engulf vehicles. What’s the most interesting is how long would it take to cover up any reminisces of our existence? Will that time ever come where people won’t be here on Earth? What would an Earth without us look like?

As time progress, in a few billions years the sun is suspected to swallow up Earth. My question is, will there be people on Earth when this happens? If so, can you imagine the hell they’ll go through when this happens. But, if you know anything remotely about the science involved, people will be dead long before this happens. Well why, why would people be dead long before this happens? It’s from the fact that we only have a limited room for growth and only so many resources that contribute to our quality of life. And because the Earth is a living breathing organism in itself. So it can’t last forever, yet it’s traveling through the cosmos to God knows you where. But speaking of God, that sounds like an interesting theory. Could religion possibly be right, or maybe not?

Or, what if people die out here, but the evolution starts over once again. Maybe, because after the sun engulfs the Earth, other planets will eventually follow suit. Then the universe will reach a point where the universe can no longer expand, then we will have yet another big bang. The universe will sustain back to its original state and expand once again. Then there will be yet another ability for evolution to take hold. Could that possibly mean as human die off, we will reemerge. Or is it possible that the universe has expanded beyond capacity before and we are leftover from some previous universe?

In the end, a world without people is hard to comprehend to us, but not in the universe. We are very small in the grand scheme of things. Humans on Earth are like a grain of sand on a beach, and Earth in the universe is a grain of sand on an even bigger beach. So our existence or nonexistence is small, but my intrigue is open nonetheless.
