NOT ENOUGH TIME IN A DAY

“If only I had more time.”

24 HOURS IS NOT ENOUGH

Do you ever get the feeling that you don’t have enough time to work no matter how hard you put the work in? Because you want to see yourself in this life, but for some reason the more you work the further it seems you are away from your goal. Sometimes I wish we had 48 hours in a day instead of 24 hours in a day. Now, if we had that much time, would be surprised how many people would waste even more time. But for the people looking to grow something then they will have enough time. But you know what, even with this, we still might not feel we have enough time.

THE END IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

The age of the Earth is billions of years old. But humanity has only been around for 250,000 years while the average person lives to be 78 years old. So when you look at your life, we are here for such a short period pertaining to the overall scheme of life. So we don’t feel there is enough time because we can’t see past the reality of what we are on this planet. But the problem is that when we think in this context we will miss out on a lot of things in life. You don’t want to get to the end and then feel like your life meant nothing.

TIME IS VERY RELATIVE

Time is not the time that we all experience in life. I feel from my space that I never have enough time. This could be good or it could be something bad. To me, I feel like life is moving so fast that I am trying to catch up to what it is I am trying to do. Now, in my same space I could have another person say that time dragged along. And when you feel time is dragging, you don’t feel motivated and it can hurt success. If you don’t have enough time, you might be closer to your goal.

APPRECIATING THE SPACE YOU ARE IN

“Keep your eyes on you.”

YOUR GOAL IS THE GOAL

Far too often people are looking over at what other people are doing and how they are building their futures. And they are not grateful enough of where they are at by doing so. Plus, sometimes who can blame them when you have a social media platform that is a constant reminder of how awful your life is in the world. Because you just have a mundane life and everyone is doing something so much better. Then again so many people lie about their great lives on social media. But this is more than just that, it’s people who frown on why they are not where others are in life. Some even will squander a blessing because they feel they deserve more than the person with more.

KNOW WHEN TO CASH OUT

Life success is not only about building, but sometimes you have to know when to throw in the towel. And a lot of people just don’t know when to throw the towel in this thing called life. You will win $100 million in prize money, but another person will win $500 million. That is their winnings, but don’t throw away your ticket. Sometimes you just have to cash out here in life. And look at the bright side, most people don’t get even a small percentage of $100 million. But it’s something about people not seeing themselves that they won’t cash out, but throw the ticket away.

NEVER GOOD ENOUGH

There is always someone better than you at something. So if you are constantly comparing yourself and looking at another person’s success, you never can live the space you have carved out for yourself. And trust and believe, someone would love to swap places with you. That person might also be close to catching you as well. So why you’re comparing yourself to others, the person behind you might pass you and now you’re even further from the top.

CROSS COUNTRY CAREER: WHEN FAMILY IS NUMBER 2

“Which comes first?”

BALANCING ACTS

When you are working toward your career and trying to make strides in building, you miss out on a lot. As a matter of fact, what happens when you are from an entirely different part of the country? Like myself, I am from the Midwest, so I miss on quite a bit. But it is what it is, you’re working your regular day job. You can’t just say, “Hey, I’ll hop a flight back home and come back tomorrow.” It’s just not realistic to think you can live like this. You just have to come back when you come back. And your family has to realize that you are not close and have to see them later. But then again, you’re not the only person who probably lives far away.

THE NEW NORMAL

More and more young people are moving away from home. It’s because to find work, some people have to move away since work may be hard to come by in some places. Families are also becoming a lot more fragmented because of the shift. Yet, it is considered normal and most families are fine with it. I myself often think about the family far away, but they even understand. Considering the place where I come from is so poor. The work is rare, so you have to make moves in your life.

GOTTA DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO

I know it hurts, but you have to make those moves to build your life. You can’t be afraid to have a career because you’re worried about leaving family. If you live in a city where you don’t have to move fine, but sometimes you have to go. Realize there is nothing where you are, and make adjustments to leaving. So, be well, and good luck on your journey.
